General Questions

  1. Are your campsites ADA accessible?

    Two of our sites are built to be ADA accessible. These sites are accessed by a flat, packed-gravel path approximately .5 miles long. The campsites themselves have a flat grass surface.

    We also have a Jyubako which has ramps for wheelchair access.

  2. How many tents are allowed per site?

    Sites have limited space and our Medium sites allow one tent, and our Large sites allow two tents.

  3. Can I rent a tent when I arrive?

    Yes! Please see our rental page for more information on available items. We also offer demos of almost every tent in Snow Peak's current line. Please provide notice with a minimum of 48 hours notice so we can confirm availability of the item. Demo tents are approximately 10% of the retail price, and the cost can be credited toward purchase if you decide to buy that tent model.

  4. Why can’t I park my car at my campsite?

    Keeping the camping area car free helps us create an environment for people to genuinely connect with nature away from modern distractions. Our parking lot is close and our carts and paths make it easy to transport gear to your site. Once you enjoy the tranquility of camping without engine noise, slamming doors, car stereos, or generators in camp, we hope you understand this decision.

  5. Are there other Campfield locations?

    The Long Beach Campfield is the only location in the United States - for now! We aim to open additional locations in North America. Snow Peak operates multiple Campfields in Japan - you may find more details on our Japanese Campfields here.

  6. Do you have EV Chargers?

    Yes! We have Rivian Waypoints (Level 2) chargers on property. These are J-plug compatible.

  7. What do I do if I lost something at the Campfield?

    Our team will keep an eye out for it. Please report your lost item here

Guest Experience

  1. Do you have quiet hours?

    Yes, quiet hours begin daily at 10pm.

  2. Can a member of the campfield team help me set up my tent?

    Set up is not included in our rental packages. If available, our staff may provide assistance.

  3. Is the campground staffed 24 hours a day?

    Yes, we have staff onsite at all hours of operations.

  4. What should I do if I need assistance?

    Please contact a member of our team by going to the Campstore or Gatehouse during open hours, or contact the night manager after closing.

Guest Policies

  1. What is your cancellation policy?
    • Up until 14 days before the scheduled arrival date, if you choose to cancel your reservation, a full refund will be provided minus the booking fee.
    • Between 14 days and 7 days before the scheduled arrival date, if you choose to cancel or modify your reservation, 50% of your booking charges will be refunded, minus the booking fee.
    • Within 7 days of the scheduled arrival date, if you choose to cancel or modify your reservation, no refund will be provided.
    • If you are not present for the first night of your reservation, a member of our staff will attempt to contact you. If we are unable to reach you, your reservation may be cancelled, without any refund, and your site may be released.
  2. Do you offer group discounts?

    We offer discounts for groups booking 10 sites or more. These discounts vary by the season. Please complete our group intake form on our "Groups" page and we will get back to you with availability info!

  3. Are pets allowed at the campfield?

    Yes, though we ask that they remain on leash.

Events

  1. Can I rent out the Campfield event space for a private event?

    Yes. We offer partial and full buyouts. Please email longbeach@snowpeakcampfield.com for more information.

  2. I have an idea for an event. Who should I contact?

    We're excited to hear it! Please email longbeach@snowpeakcampfield.com with your idea or question and a member of our team will be in contact.

  3. Are events open to all ages?

    Depends on the nature of the event, but typically, yes. Some events serving alcohol are not open to children or minors.

  4. I’m not staying at Campfield. Can I attend an event?

    It depends on the event. Please see our event page or contact a member of our team for more details.

  5. What do I do if I lost something at the Campfield?

    Lost items will be held for 30 days. Please report your lost item here
